Vacuum Arp Controls
The Arp section controls the Arpeggiator: a feature that creates rhythmic arpeggios when one or more MIDI notes are played and held down.
 
On/Off
Turns the arpeggiator on and off.
Speed
Sets the speed of the arpeggio in rhythmic values that are synchronized to the session tempo.
 
In between each setting, there are two unlabeled settings for triplet and dotted rhythms. Experiment with different settings until you find the rhythm you want.
Mode
Sets the direction of the arpeggiator.
 
The arpeggio moves up from the lowest note held. Once all notes have been played, the pattern repeats.
The arpeggio moves down from the highest note held. Once all notes have been played, the pattern repeats.
The arpeggio moves up from the lowest note held. When the highest note is reached, the arpeggiator runs in reverse, moving down. Once the lowest note is reached, the pattern repeats.
The arpeggiator will play through the held notes, randomly.
